Alba Adriatica police issue four fines for underage alcohol sales

At the start of July, the provincial police chief in Teramo, Pasquale Sorgonà, activated a 24‑hour police post in the coastal town of Alba Adriatica. During night‑time checks on bars, beach establishments and discotheques, officers identified more than one hundred patrons, the majority of whom were minors. Four administrative fines were issued to two venues for failing to display product prices, opening hours, and signs prohibiting the sale of alcoholic drinks to persons under 18, as well as for lacking mandatory no‑smoking notices.

The operation, carried out by the State Police’s Administrative Division together with local police, aims to curb the growing practice of selling alcohol to minors and to protect public health and safety during the summer season.
