Alberti UCR renews leadership to prepare for 2027 elections

The Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) in Alberti has renewed its local leadership, with Raúl Vaccarezza continuing as head of the District Committee. The renewal process was conducted through a single list without internal competition.

Councilman Fernando Bécker has joined the party leadership, taking on dual responsibilities within the Deliberative Council and the local radical movement. The new leadership has stated that their primary objective is to begin constructing a political proposal aimed at the 2027 elections.

Vaccarezza emphasized the goal of building a ‘new radicalism’ that maintains a close connection with citizens and establishes a modern identity. He also noted the provincial political landscape, mentioning General Viamonte Mayor Franco Flexas’s public intention to run for Governor of the Buenos Aires province in 2027.
