Alcaraz and Zverev prepare for ATP 500 tournament in Vienna

Tennis stars Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev are participating in the Erste Bank Open in Vienna. Alcaraz, returning to the tournament for the first time since 2021, held training sessions at the Marx-Halle, a historic former cattle market that currently serves as a secondary venue for the ATP 500 event.

In addition to tournament preparations, both players were invited to visit the Vienna State Opera. Alcaraz expressed his excitement regarding the visit, noting that it was his first time entering such an impressive and historic venue.

As the tournament begins, Alcaraz is scheduled to face Karen Khachanov in the first round, while Zverev will compete against Martin Landaluce. Zverev, a former winner of the Vienna tournament, is also competing for the opportunity to reach the world number one ranking for the first time.
