Alcoi implements new digital platform for tourism management

The Alcoi City Council is implementing a new digital platform to centralize and analyze tourism activity data within the city. This initiative is part of the Tourism Sustainability Destination Plan (PSTD) and aims to modernize municipal management.

Previously, tourism indicators were collected manually from various sources, including the National Statistics Institute, Google Analytics, municipal tourism websites, and visitor surveys. The new tool will integrate these diverse data streams into a single platform, providing a more complete and updated view of tourism evolution in Alcoi. This integration is intended to facilitate better planning, campaign evaluation, and decision-making.

Lorena Zamorano, the Councilor for Tourism, stated that unified and updated information will allow the city to better plan actions, measure impact, and adapt the tourism offering to the actual needs of visitors.
