Aldi Süd to release limited-edition Mattel Barbie set
Aldi Süd is launching a limited-edition “ALDImania Barbie” in collaboration with Mattel. The promotional set is scheduled to go on sale starting Monday, September 28, at a price of 12.99 Euro.
The doll features a summer dress with an Aldi-themed pattern and includes various accessories such as a silver shopping cart with pink wheels, a blue shopping bag, white sneakers, and miniature food items like carrots, broccoli, and egg cartons. The set also contains eleven stickers, split between Aldi and Barbie designs.
Due to the limited nature of the promotion, Aldi Süd has noted that stock may sell out as early as the morning of the launch date. In Switzerland, the doll has already been available through Hofer since September 21, priced at 14.99 Euro.
