Puebla Governor highlights federal benefits and Circuito Mixteco infrastructure
Puebla Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier reported that 1.5 million families in the state are benefiting from federal government initiatives. He emphasized the fulfillment of commitments made by President Claudia Sheinbaum.
A key project highlighted is the Circuito Mixteco, a strategic infrastructure work designed to boost tourism and economic development. The project includes road construction and paving to connect Tehuacán with the Mixteca region and extend to Marquelia, Guerrero. This connection is expected to reduce travel times from five hours to two hours.
Additionally, the state administration is constructing two school-hospitals in Tepexi and Izúcar de Matamoros to support young migrants studying medicine. Armenta also noted environmental interventions in the Atoyac River to recover the tourism potential of Valsequillo.
