Aleksandar Stankovic seeks playing time at Inter Milan

Inter Milan midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic is facing a challenging start to the season, characterized by limited playing time both at the club level and with the Serbian national team. Since returning to Milan from Club Brugge this summer, Stankovic has recorded only 15 minutes of competitive action in league play, making him one of the least utilized outfield players under manager Cristian Chivu.

Despite the lack of minutes, Stankovic has reportedly expressed no regrets regarding his decision to reject offers from English clubs in favor of staying at Inter. Manager Cristian Chivu has offered reassurances to the player, encouraging him to maintain focus and work hard to ensure he is ready when his opportunity arises.

Stankovic previously saw significant growth and responsibility during his tenure at Club Brugge, which led to Inter exercising a buy-back option to bring him back to the club. While he remains committed to his current role, a loan move in January is being considered as a potential solution to ensure he gains more consistent match experience.
