Alessandro Bonetto unveils Bonetto B1-4WD high-performance concept
Italian tuner Alessandro Bonetto has introduced the Bonetto B1-4WD, a high-performance reimagining of the Fiat 500 Abarth architecture. The project features significant mechanical overhauls, most notably the replacement of the standard engine with a 350 CV 1750 TBi four-cylinder engine sourced from Alfa Romeo.
Unlike the traditional front-wheel-drive setup of the Abarth, the B1-4WD utilizes an all-wheel-drive system with variable torque distribution. This system can shift power from a 50:50 balance to an 80:20 split favoring the rear wheels to enhance sporty handling. The vehicle also incorporates two limited-slip differentials and a six-speed manual transmission to manage the increased power output.
