Alessandro Buongiorno completes first phase of injury rehabilitation

Napoli defender Alessandro Buongiorno has completed the first phase of his rehabilitation following surgery on his meniscus. The player has been undergoing recovery at the Institute of Sports Medicine of Turin (IMSTO).

Images shared by IMSTO show the central defender performing specific training exercises to recover from his knee injury. Following this initial stage in Turin, Buongiorno is expected to return to Napoli to undergo the second and final phase of his recovery. His return to competitive play is anticipated around December or early 2027.
