Former Member of Parliament Alessandro Di Battista has revealed that he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. During an appearance on the La7 program ‘DiMartedì’, Di Battista shared details regarding a sudden medical emergency he experienced while in Cuba.

He described undergoing immediate surgical intervention on the island before beginning a long recovery process that eventually brought him back to Italy. Di Battista chose to share his diagnosis directly on television rather than through formal press releases, discussing the personal impact of the illness and the unpredictability of the condition.
