Alex Haditaghi criticizes fine for Wieczysta Kraków

Alex Haditaghi, owner of Pogoń Szczecin, has expressed strong dissatisfaction following a decision by the League Commission to fine Wieczysta Kraków 100,000 PLN. The penalty stems from Wieczysta’s attempt to illegally induce Jean-Pierre Nsame to break his contract with Pogoń Szczecin.

In August, details emerged regarding an offer made to the Cameroonian striker, which included a monthly salary of 35,000 EUR and a 30,000 EUR signing bonus. Haditaghi had previously released documentation proving the existence of the offer.

The League Commission decided against a transfer ban, citing that it was the club’s first offense and noting that Wieczysta had issued an apology. Haditaghi described the fine as ‘a joke and a huge disappointment,’ arguing that such a low penalty fails to act as a deterrent for clubs attempting to poach players under contract.
