Polish football league disciplinary actions

Overview

The League Commission has issued several fines to Polish football clubs following various incidents.

Murat Çolak, president of Cracovia, was fined 10,000 PLN after entering the pitch to confront referee Piotr Lasyk following a match against Legia Warszawa. Çolak stated he would not appeal the decision.

Separately, Wieczysta Kraków was fined 100,000 PLN for attempting to illegally induce player Jean-Pierre Nsame to break his contract with Pogoń Szczecin. While the Commission declined to impose a transfer ban due to the club’s apology and status as a first-time offender, Pogoń Szczecin owner Alex Haditaghi criticized the penalty as ‘a joke and a huge disappointment,’ arguing it lacks sufficient deterrent value.
