Alexander Nübel joins Beşiktaş from Bayern Munich

German goalkeeper Alexander Nübel has completed a permanent move from FC Bayern Munich to Turkish Süper Lig side Beşiktaş Istanbul. The clubs agreed on a transfer fee of about €6.5 million, with potential bonuses of up to €5 million. Nübel signed a three‑year contract that runs until the summer of 2029. He arrived in Istanbul by air, was greeted by club officials and fans at Atatürk Airport, underwent a medical examination and then signed the paperwork.

During his six‑year spell with Bayern, Nübel made only four competitive appearances, spending most of his time on loan at AS Monaco and VfB Stuttgart. Beşiktaş also announced the simultaneous signing of Turkish international goalkeeper Doğan Alemdar. Nübel expressed excitement about playing for the club, aiming to help Beşiktaş win derbies and compete in European competitions.
