Brazilian longboard surfer Alexandre Escobar has qualified for the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. His qualification follows a strong performance at the ISA World Longboard Championship held in El Salvador from October 16 to 22.

Escobar, representing the Brazilian national team, reached the semifinals of the competition, finishing as the top-ranked Brazilian in the men's category. His performance placed him alongside other qualifiers such as Benoit Clemente of Peru, Tony Silvagni of the United States, and Jonathan Melendres of Mexico.

In the team competition, the Brazilian national team secured the bronze medal. The overall team standings saw France take the gold, followed by the United States with silver and Peru with bronze.
