Alexandru Rogobete urges doctor‑led health reforms at Romania's ICU Congress

Former Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete attended the opening of the 52nd National Congress of the Romanian Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care in Sinaia. In a Facebook post and his speech he emphasized that serious public‑health policies cannot be designed from office or out of administrative pride, but must be built together with the professionals who work daily in hospitals.

Rogobete recalled his two‑and‑a‑half years working in intensive care, saying that experience taught him the huge pressure behind each medical decision and the importance of a united team. He praised the dedication of Romanian medical staff over the past decade and called for reforms that rely on their expertise rather than top‑down directives.
