McLaren’s historic M6GT restoration and Maserati’s new models debut at Goodwood Festival

McLaren Special Operations has rebuilt the sole surviving prototype of Bruce McLaren’s 1970 M6GT using original moulds, drawings and period‑correct components. The restored car will be displayed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed starting 10 July 2026, exactly on the circuit where Bruce McLaren died while testing the car in 1970.

At the same festival, Maserati is showcasing its latest GranTurismo, GranCabrio and Grecale models live for the first time, following a recent digital launch. The brand uses the event, held 9–12 July 2026 at Goodwood House in West Sussex, to underline its centenary of the iconic trident logo and to reaffirm its luxury‑performance positioning.

Both displays highlight a focus on heritage and future direction within the automotive industry, with McLaren emphasising historical preservation and Maserati presenting new design and performance vehicles.
