Algeria beats Netherlands 1-0 in World Cup warm‑up match

Algeria secured a 1‑0 victory over the Netherlands in a World Cup preparation game at Rotterdam's De Kuip stadium. Anis Hadj Moussa, playing for Feyenoord, scored the decisive goal in the 86th minute after a pass from Nabil Bentaleb.

The win gave the North African side a confidence boost ahead of the tournament, while Dutch coach Ronald Koeman lamented missed chances and the impact of five second‑half substitutions. Algerian coach Vladimir Petkovic praised his team's defensive organization and the result as an important morale builder.
