Algeria deploys mobile medical clinics to wildfire-affected areas

The Algerian Ministry of Health has deployed a mobile medical clinic to provide healthcare services to populations affected by recent wildfires, specifically targeting areas such as the Jijel province.

Acting on instructions from Health Minister Mohamed Seddik Aït Messaoudène, the initiative aims to ensure medical and psychological continuity in regions where access to traditional health facilities has been compromised by the fires. The mobile unit is designed to bring consultations directly to residents, reducing the need for travel in disrupted areas. In addition to physical medical care, the deployment includes psychological support for individuals and families impacted by the loss of property or loved ones.
