Algeria promotes energy and industrial investment in Austria

The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) participated in the ‘Africa Day 2026’ event held in Vienna to strengthen economic ties between Algeria and Austria. Organized by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO), the event focused on exploring business opportunities and increasing bilateral trade under the theme ‘Africa, means business’.

Discussions highlighted strategic collaboration in North Africa, with a specific emphasis on Algeria. Key sectors identified for potential Austrian investment include energy, green hydrogen, and industrial development. To facilitate these connections, the AAPI, in coordination with the Algerian Embassy in Vienna, hosted a promotional stand to showcase the country’s economic advantages and investment opportunities.
