Algeria transportation providers announce new routes and discounts
Several transportation providers are introducing new services and promotional pricing for travel involving Algeria.
The Société nationale des transports ferroviaires (SNTF) has announced the schedule and pricing for the international train connecting Algeria and Tunisia. Departing from Annaba on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, the service travels through Souk Ahras, Ghardimaou, Jendouba, and Béja to reach Tunis. Border formalities are conducted at the Souk Ahras and Ghardimaou stations.
In the aviation sector, Air Algérie has revised its promotional fare structure for flights between France and Algeria. One-way tickets are available starting from 98 euros for specific routes, such as Lyon-Constantine, with bookings open through August 2026 for travel lasting until March 2027.
Additionally, the Italian maritime company GNV has launched a commercial campaign offering up to 30% discounts on 8,000 seats for ferry crossings between France and Algeria. The promotion covers routes from Sète to Algiers and Béjaïa for travel through December 2026. GNV has also recently launched a new maritime link between Civitavecchia, Italy, and Annaba, Algeria.
