Algerian Investment Agency Director attends World Investment Forum in Doha

Omar Rekkache, Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), is participating in the 9th edition of the World Investment Forum 2026 in Doha, Qatar. The event, held from October 25 to 27, is organized by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in partnership with the State of Qatar.

Under the theme ‘Investing in the Future,’ the forum serves as a high-level international platform for government officials, investors, business leaders, and international organizations to discuss global investment challenges. Discussions focus on policies and strategies to mobilize investment toward sustainable development and economic growth.

AAPI aims to use this forum to showcase Algeria’s investment attractiveness, highlight national opportunities, and share expertise. The participation is intended to strengthen Algeria’s international presence and explore new cooperation and partnership prospects with global institutions.
