Alger becomes top searched summer flight destination from France

Alger has emerged as the most searched flight destination from France for the summer 2026 season, according to data from Bourse des Vols. The capital city saw a 4% increase in search interest compared to the previous year, leading a trend where Maghreb destinations dominate French traveler preferences.

Other notable regional performers include Marrakech, which rose to fifth place with an 11% increase in searches, and Tunis, which maintained its eighth-place position with a 14% rise. Specific routes also showed significant growth, such as Toulouse to Oran (+78%) and Marseille to Annaba (+291%).

In response to travel demands between the two regions, ASL Airlines France has extended its student discount program. The offer provides a 10% reduction on flights between Algeria and France, including two checked bags and one free reservation modification to assist students traveling for academic purposes.
