Alicante launches new app feature for real-time waste reporting

The Alicante City Council and cleaning service provider Netial have launched an update to the ‘Tú Haces Alicante’ mobile application. The new feature allows residents to report cleaning and waste management issues, such as dirty sidewalks, overflowing containers, or abandoned furniture, in real time.

Users can report incidents via the ‘Atención Ciudadana’ section by selecting a category, marking a location on a map, and attaching photos or videos. The app also enables citizens to request the removal of bulky items by specifying a date and describing the objects. Residents can track the status of their reports and receive notifications once a problem has been resolved.
