Alicante Provincial Youth Awards Extend Application Deadline to August 14

The Diputación d’Alacant has kept the submission window open for the 22nd edition of the Provincial Youth Awards until August 14. Young people aged 14 to 30 can enter projects across categories such as business initiatives, music, short mobile films, brief narratives and digital photography, competing for a total prize fund of €18,000. Deputy for Youth Loreto Serrano urged candidates to take advantage of the final days, emphasizing the awards’ role in showcasing local talent and entrepreneurship.

Separately, the nonprofit Fundesplai is launching a new edition of its Inclusió Jove programme in El Prat de Llobregat. Running from September to December, the project supports youths aged 16 to 29 with intellectual disabilities or mental‑health diagnoses, offering training, job‑placement assistance, emotional support and group tutoring. Participants must be active job seekers registered with the Garantia Juvenil scheme.
