Castilla-La Mancha teacher union forecasts 800 positions for 2027

The teacher union ANPE has announced a forecast of approximately 800 teaching positions for Secondary Education and Vocational Training in Castilla-La Mancha for the 2027 competitive examinations. This figure is expected to be significantly higher than the 575 positions currently listed in the 2025 Public Employment Offer (OEP).

The 2027 call will consolidate the positions and specialties from both the 2025 and 2026 OEPs. ANPE emphasizes that these large-scale calls are essential for creating stable employment and reducing temporary staffing in the public education system. The union also noted that Castilla-La Mancha maintains one of the lowest teacher interinship rates in Spain due to recent employment offers.

According to the union, the 2027 call will include key specialties such as English (54), Mathematics (49), Spanish Language and Literature (47), and Physics and Chemistry (44). ANPE continues to advocate for decoupling teaching offers from replacement rates to ensure maximum stability for faculty and educational projects.
