Castilla-La Mancha teacher employment forecasts

Overview

The ANPE teacher union has forecasted approximately 800 teaching positions for secondary education and vocational training in Castilla-La Mancha for the 2027 competitive exams. This upcoming call is expected to consolidate public employment offers from 2025 and 2026, providing a larger number of vacancies and a broader range of specialties than the 575 positions currently listed for 2025.

ANPE stated that these large-scale calls are necessary to create stable employment and reduce temporary contracts. The union noted that Castilla-La Mancha currently maintains one of the lowest teacher interim rates in Spain due to recent public employment offers. Following the 2027 secondary education call, the union anticipates a new call for the teaching corps in 2028.

Specific specialties expected for the 2027 call include English (54), Mathematics (49), Spanish Language and Literature (47), and Physics and Chemistry (44). ANPE continues to advocate for decoupling teaching offers from replacement rates to ensure maximum stability for faculty and educational projects.
