Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 launches on PS5, Xbox, and PC

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, a cooperative third-person survival shooter developed by Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Game Company in partnership with 20th Century Games, has launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Building on the 2021 predecessor, the sequel expands squad capacity from three to four players. It introduces a new customizable Specialist class, improved enemy artificial intelligence, and a revamped Horde mode. Players take on the role of Colonial Marines fighting against waves of Xenomorphs.

Release schedules vary by platform. While the digital versions are currently available for PS5, Xbox, and PC, physical editions for PlayStation 5 are expected in October 2026 in certain regions. A version for Nintendo Switch 2 has been confirmed, with release dates cited as either late September or November 2026 depending on the region.
