Cold Iron Studios, Daybreak Game Company and 20th Century Games have reconfirmed that the co‑op shooter Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will launch globally on 25 August 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam and Epic). The release expands squad size from three to four players, adds a fully customisable Specialist class that lets players mix abilities across classes, and introduces an expanded Horde mode with new maps. Both a Standard Edition ($49.99) and a 40th Anniversary Premium Edition ($69.99) will be digital‑only, the latter bundling the Ripley’s Hive Exterminator Pack, Herk Mondo’s Pest Pack and future DLC. An upgrade path from Standard to Premium costs $19.99, and a Rain’s Jackson’s Star Pack tied to *Alien: Romulus* will sell for $9.99 at launch.
