Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 slated for global release on August 25, 2026
Daybreak Game Company, Cold Iron Studios and 20th Century Games have announced that the sequel to the co‑op third‑person shooter will launch worldwide on 25 August 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and will support up to four players in cooperative squads.
Two digital editions are offered. The Standard Edition contains only the base game and sells for $49.99 (≈€49.99). The 40th Anniversary Premium Edition costs $69.99 (≈€69.99) and adds the Ripley’s Hive Exterminator Pack and Herk Mondo’s Pest Pack, both featuring exclusive outfits, weapons and decals. An optional upgrade from the Standard to the Premium edition is priced at $19.99, and the Rain’s Jackson’s Star Pack – drawing on the film *Alien: Romulus* – will be sold for $9.99 on launch day. New features include a fully customizable Specialist class, deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemy AI and element‑based weapon modifications.
