Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 release date Premium Edition Cold Iron Studios Daybreak Game Company

Cold Iron Studios and publisher Daybreak Game Company announced that the sequel to the 2021 co‑op shooter, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, will launch on August 25, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The standard edition will retail for $49.99, while a 40th Anniversary Premium Edition priced at $69.99 bundles several cosmetic packs, including Ripley's Hive Exterminator Pack and Herk’s Mondo Pest Pack.

The game expands cooperative play from three to four players and adds a fully customisable Specialist class, offering deeper squad mechanics and class synergy. The Premium Edition and its expansion content were unveiled during a panel at San Diego Comic‑Con 2026.

Both editions will support cross‑play and will be available digitally via platforms such as Steam and the Epic Games Store.
