Alisa Goods missing in Las Vegas as family receives Bitcoin demands

The family of Alisa Goods, a 63-year-old woman from Brooklyn, New York, reports receiving suspicious text messages from her phone following her disappearance in Las Vegas.

Goods was last seen on August 8 after leaving a friend's apartment near the Las Vegas Strip to walk to a CVS pharmacy. She was officially reported missing on August 10. While her phone was initially disconnected, it began sending messages to her relatives on August 12.

The messages, which appear to originate from Goods' device, contain demands for Bitcoin, cash, and ‘gas money.’ Her niece, Alana Calloway, noted the requests are highly suspicious, as Goods does not have a vehicle in Las Vegas and the sender claimed to be stranded at a gas station. Las Vegas police are continuing their investigation into the disappearance.
