Allan Okello joins Moroccan club AS FAR Rabat

Ugandan attacking midfielder Allan Okello has completed a transfer to the Moroccan Premier League club AS FAR Rabat. The 26-year-old signed a three-year contract with the Rabat-based side in a deal reportedly valued at Shs2.98 billion.

Okello joins AS FAR from Tanzania’s Young Africans SC, where he spent less than a full season. During his tenure with the Tanzanian champions, he recorded 14 goals and eight assists, contributing to a domestic league and cup double.

The move marks a return to North African football for Okello, who previously played for Algeria’s Paradou AC between 2020 and 2023. Upon his arrival, Okello expressed his excitement about joining a major club and his commitment to helping the team secure titles.
