Ugandan athletes move to Moroccan clubs

Ugandan athletes have secured professional contracts with Moroccan sports clubs.

Footballer Allan Okello, a 26-year-old attacking midfielder, completed a transfer to the Moroccan Premier League club AS FAR Rabat. Okello signed a three-year contract following a successful tenure with Tanzania’s Young Africans SC, where he recorded 14 goals and eight assists. This move represents a return to North African football for Okello, who previously played in Algeria.
