Allegria Festival begins in Reggio Calabria

The fifth edition of the Allegria Festival has launched in the Pellaro and Bocale districts of Reggio Calabria. Promoted by the association ‘Calabria dietro le quinte APS’ and directed by Giuseppe Mazzacuva, the event is part of the ‘ReggioFest 2026 – Cultura Diffusa’ project initiated by the Municipality of Reggio Calabria.

Running from August 17 to September 10, 2026, the festival features a multidisciplinary program including live performances, workshops, and family activities. The opening lineup includes visual comedy with Ugo Sanchez Jr. performing ‘Potpourri,’ a physical theater and clowning show, followed by the ‘Disillusion – Cine Magic Show’ by the duo Disguido, which combines illusionism and cabaret. The schedule also includes puppet theater performances.
