Allegro expands logistics and financial services to external shops
Allegro, the leading Polish e-commerce platform, has announced plans to expand its ecosystem by offering logistics, financial, and advertising services to sellers for use outside of its own marketplace. The initiative aims to help partners strengthen their independent online stores and reach customers across multiple channels.
During the inaugural ‘Allegro Open’ conference in Poznań, CEO Marcin Kuśmierz stated the company’s goal is to become ‘Europe’s most partner-friendly e-commerce organization.’ Key strategic shifts include platform verticalization, where the company will move away from a uniform horizontal model to create specialized shopping experiences tailored to specific industries, such as cosmetics or automotive parts.
Additional announcements include the launch of a seller protection program to standardize partner support and the introduction of the Allegro App Store, which will provide sellers with access to selected third-party applications.
