Allegro e-commerce platform expansion

Overview

Polish e-commerce platform Allegro has initiated a series of expansions focused on logistics, product collaborations, and service accessibility.

Initially, the company enhanced its marketplace offerings through an exclusive cosmetic collaboration with Inglot and the testing of ‘Allegro XL’. Developed with Rohlig SUUS Logistics, this new service targets the delivery of large and heavy items, such as electronics and home goods, specifically for Allegro Smart! subscribers.

Building on these developments, Allegro announced plans to extend its ecosystem to external sellers. The company intends to offer its logistics, financial, and advertising services to support independent online stores outside of the Allegro marketplace. CEO Marcin Kuśmierz stated the company aims to become ‘Europe’s most partner-friendly e-commerce organization’ through strategic shifts such as platform verticalization, the launch of a seller protection program, and the introduction of the Allegro App Store.
