Allwyn and McLaren Racing to host Formula 1 event in Athens

Allwyn AG and McLaren Racing have announced the first event of a new global series, ‘Allwyn x McLaren Racing: Live in Athens’, scheduled for October 3, 2026. The event will take place at the Athens Olympic Sports Center (OAKA) in Greece.

The activation will feature a live showrun including the 2025 Formula 1 World Constructors' Championship winning car and the historic McLaren MP4/6 driven by Ayrton Senna. Two-time World Champion Mika Häkkinen is also expected to drive during the event.

In addition to the racing demonstrations, the event will include a fan zone, various showcars, and appearances by former F1 drivers. This initiative marks the beginning of a global series designed to bring immersive motorsport experiences to key markets for Allwyn.
