Allwyn Care and Bloode organize blood donation drives in Greece

The Allwyn Care program and the NGO Bloode are organizing a series of voluntary blood donation drives across Greece to bolster hospital reserves.

In Thessaloniki, events are scheduled for October 9 and 10, 2026. On October 9, donations will take place at the Aristotle University Polytechnic School, and on October 10, at the Thessaloniki Waterfront. These efforts aim to support the blood supplies of AHEPA University Hospital and Hippokrateio General Hospital.

In Patras, a donation drive will be held on October 20, 2026, at Georgiou Square, in collaboration with the University Hospital of Rio.

In addition to blood donation, the organization Choose Life will conduct awareness campaigns regarding bone marrow donation at these locations. The initiative seeks to strengthen public health structures and foster a culture of voluntary contribution throughout Greek cities and islands.
