Andalusia launches cultural heritage and school programs

The Junta de Andalucía has launched several cultural initiatives across its provinces, notably through the European Heritage Days and specialized school programs. Under the theme ‘Heritage at risk: revive, resist, reimagine’, the European Heritage Days will feature numerous activities in Granada, Almería, and Cádiz, focusing on archaeology, architecture, and traditional crafts to raise awareness about heritage conservation.

In Jaén, a new cultural school program has begun, utilizing museums and archaeological sites to provide interactive learning. This initiative includes the use of 3D reproduction and digitalization of artifacts to enhance accessibility, particularly for individuals with visual impairments.

Additionally, the regional government is supporting artistic creation in Seville through residency programs for performing arts and music professionals, fostering contemporary dance and research-based projects.
