Almirante Brown celebrates 153rd anniversary and fire department milestone

The district of Almirante Brown celebrated its 153rd anniversary with an official ceremony at Plaza Brown. Led by Mariano Cascallares and local authorities, the event commemorated the district's history and identity. The celebration also marked the 14th anniversary of the creation of the District Flag.

Coinciding with these festivities, the Almirante Brown Volunteer Firefighters marked their 62nd anniversary. Established in 1964 to address the needs of a rapidly growing population, the institution was originally prompted by local merchants. The fire department has since moved through several locations, eventually settling at its current site on Avenida San Martín.
