Alpine rolls out electric A390 GT as A110 production ceases

Alpine has completed the production run of the second‑generation A110, with the last unit built in Dieppe, France. The French marque is preparing its next generation on the Alpine High Performance Electric Platform, showcasing models such as the A390, A310 and the forthcoming electric A110.

The newly unveiled Alpine A390 GT, priced at about 64,500 CHF, delivers 295 kW (400 hp) and 661 Nm of torque, sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. It offers a WLTP‑rated range of 551 km and features distinctive 20‑inch crystal‑style alloy wheels, a sporty front‑light signature and an optional carbon‑capped shell seat. An overboost function can raise power to roughly 470 hp for ten seconds. The model was tested on Swiss alpine roads, highlighting its agility and weight distribution.

Alpine’s brand narrative spans five decades, transitioning from its historic A310 and A110 to an all‑electric lineup, marking a strategic shift toward sustainable high‑performance vehicles.
