Alpine to showcase A290 and A390 models at Paris Motor Show
Alpine is highlighting its growth and customization capabilities at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. The brand's organic growth is currently driven by its ‘Extraordinary Everyday’ models, specifically the Alpine A290 electric sports compact, which accounts for 70% of sales, and the new A390 sport fastback available in GT and GTS versions.
At the event, Alpine will showcase its ‘Atelier Alpine’ program, extending customization options to both the A290 and A390. This includes new colors, upholstery, and finishes designed to enhance the vehicles' emotional appeal. The A290 will debut a new ‘Collection’ finish, while the A390 will feature new options such as ‘Storm Blue Matte’ paint and Sabelt leather sport seats.
While the A290 has successfully attracted new customers—with nearly 80% of buyers being outside the Renault Group portfolio—the A390 faces production challenges, with output expected to decrease from 30 to 15 units per day. Additionally, while enthusiasts await the next generation of the A110, the brand is focusing on its high-end positioning through these current models.
