Alpine unveils A110 FUTURE electric sports car prototype at Goodwood

Alpine revealed the A110 FUTURE, a development mule that previews the brand’s next‑generation electric sports car, at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Driven up the hill by Pierre Gasly, the prototype showcases Alpine’s new Alpine Performance Platform (APP) – an aluminium architecture with an 800‑volt, cell‑to‑pack battery split between front and rear modules to keep weight low and balance ideal.

The electric A110 targets a curb weight of about 1,500 kg, roughly a fifth heavier than the current gasoline version, yet markedly lighter than most EV roadsters. It delivers up to 300 hp, 340 Nm of torque, rear‑wheel drive, and an estimated 550 km range. Production is planned to start in 2027 at Alpine’s Dieppe plant, with both coupe and spider variants expected.

Alpine’s presence at Goodwood was its largest ever, featuring historic A110 models, the A290 hot hatch, the A390 fastback, and the championship‑winning A442 B, underscoring the marque’s heritage while highlighting its electrified future.
