Alpine unveils front‑wing and cooling upgrades for Barcelona Grand Prix

Alpine will introduce a major upgrade package for its A526 car at the upcoming Barcelona Grand Prix. The changes target the front wing, front‑suspension geometry and the cooling system, aiming to improve handling on the circuit’s fast corners and cope with the high ambient temperatures.

The upgrades follow a modest performance in Monaco, where Pierre Gasly finished seventh and Argentine driver Franco Colapinto was 14th. Alpine, currently fifth in the Constructors’ Championship, hopes the revisions will narrow the gap to the leading teams. The work will be ready for Friday’s first free‑practice session, with a second phase of updates potentially slated for the next round in Austria.
