Altas Cumbres rescue operation saves two lost hikers

Two hikers, aged 28 and 32, were rescued in the Altas Cumbres region after becoming disoriented during their trek. The individuals were located by DUAR San Alberto personnel near the Casita de Cristal trail at kilometer 18 of Route E-34.

Following their discovery, rescuers guided the pair on a 12-kilometer walk back to the Santa Rita stop. After arriving safely, the hikers received medical evaluations and were found to be in good health, requiring no hospital transfer.
