Alzheimer’s Association hosts annual walks in Missouri and New York
The Alzheimer’s Association is organizing annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s events in multiple locations.
In Columbia, the walk is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, at Stephens Lake Park, with registration beginning at 10 am. Organizers are currently seeking sponsors and teams, aiming to raise approximately $195,000. As of the latest report, more than $39,000 has been raised. The event serves as a support mechanism for caregivers and a way to fund Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
In Olean, New York, the annual walk is set to take place on a Saturday morning at the Jamestown Community College campus. The event invites residents from Cattaraugus and Allegany counties to participate in the initiative.
