The program includes the Promise Garden ceremony, where participants carry colored flowers to signify their personal connections to the disease.

In Utica, New York, the Utica/Rome Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place on Saturday, October 17, at the Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) Utica campus. The event includes check-in starting at 9 a.m., followed by opening ceremonies at 10 a.m. and the walk.
