Amagasaki drug suspects re-arrested for profit-driven possession

Two individuals, Katsushiro Koga (23) and Miyabi Yamada (26), have been re-arrested on suspicion of possessing stimulants and cocaine for profit. The arrests follow a previous indictment involving an assault in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture.

In May, the pair allegedly attempted to sell “zombie tobacco” to minors. During the encounter, they reportedly bit a mother who rushed to intervene. During the ensuing struggle, drugs were scattered at the scene. Police recovered approximately 6.8 grams of stimulants—equivalent to about 200 doses—and 0.6 grams of cocaine.

Koga has denied the allegations, stating he has no recollection of the incident, while Yamada has remained silent.
