Parton, who passed away in August 2026 at the age of 80, was a significant musical influence and a close family figure to Cyrus.

Cyrus shared a personal story regarding a perceived supernatural sign, claiming that after she played Parton’s song ‘Jolene’ near a life-sized mannequin of the singer and asked for a sign, the lights in her hallway began to flicker. She noted that her fiancé, Maxx Morando, witnessed the event.
