Amaravati Development Corp Orders Immediate Completion of Seed Access Road

Amaravati Development Corporation (ADC) chairperson and managing director D. Lakshmi Parthasarathy inspected Phase‑III works on the Seed Access Road, a key transport link for the new capital city. She directed engineering officials to finish the road within the stipulated deadline, warning that further delays will not be tolerated.

The inspection covered the stretch from the Manthena Satyanarayana Raju Ashram to Undavalli via the Chief Minister’s residence. Officials said earlier progress had stalled due to land‑acquisition issues, but construction has now resumed with NCC deploying heavy machinery. Parthasarathy reviewed wet‑mix macadam, granular sub‑base, embankment works, and dense bituminous macadam surfacing on a steel bridge over the Buckingham Canal. She also ordered the immediate completion of the approach road to the bridge crossing the Kondaveeti Vagu and examined newly built cycling and walking tracks in the buffer zone at Rayapudi village.
